Thats what I was affraid of Im also a big fan of Titus Young but figured there was already a posting for him with all of the attention he got on day one. Would anyone happen to know Hankeys size, weight, and last posted official 40 time? (or closest to it) Id also like to know how he compares to Boise's Titus Young.

I will be keeping my eyes on these 2. They look solid catching in traffic and stretching the field, and lenghty frames with solid speed is making me drool a little early. Especially Young's speed. Cant wait til the combine.

Been on this bandwagon, if he runs a good 40, no way he falls to the 3rd. Looks much better at route running than our very own Michael Crabtree. Very bold statement.

I wish we had a ton of 2nd rounders like the pats, thats where all the value is IMO

Hankerson is listed as 6'3 205. If he run in the 4.4s he will be gone by the 3d.

Love this guy. Big physical receiver who runs fluid routes. His hands aren't perfect but hes solid and I believe he can be a good player in the league.

I mean he did break Michael Irvin's single season records and the U.

Hello Matt Millen.

On the subject of Hankerson, I love the pick and could see him being a guy who could eventually grow into the roll of a number 1 receiver over time. It's unfortunate we don't have our QB situation worked out because I wouldn't have a problem if we took him in the 2nd round.

Maybe we could try to acquire another 2nd round pick for this year? I'm ok with it as long we aren't trading our 1st for next year to acquire any picks (there are no assurances we are going to be good in 2011). Nevertheless our need positions of the first 4 rounds (rounds where you can reasonably expect a guy to have a contribution in year 1) are OLB, QB, DB, G (we know the story on Rachal and Snyder is a solid BACKUP), and WR. Unfortunately, we need these first two far more than we need the last two, so we may have to pass on Hankerson unless we can get another 2nd round pick.

I love Kendall Hunter, and think he is the best back in the draft. But, you make your point well. At some point, a OSU WR will be a star, and erase the past.
