Any chance we can move up to #1?

I would think Carolina would be plain stupid NOT to trade out of that spot. To give up on Claussen already is dumb. He was thrown into a horrible situation. Luck would have sucked too if the he started for Carolina. They have too many holes to fill. If they could snag an additional 2nd, 3rd and 2012 1st......they had better pull that trigger or they would be fools. They may be able to possibly get even more. Making that sort of move would make them better as opposed to throwing another rookie QB under the bus with a s**tty supporting cast.

P.Willis,Crabtree,and our 1st round pick....... Just keep the pick and get Peterson or Prince.

Pick up Palmer in the offseason. Draft Prince in the 1rst and Stanzi in the second.

I swear I would S my pants if we got luck I think Carolina really would be stupid to not tradethe pick and if we get harbaugh we should get luck. I'd give our entire draft plus next years 1 round pick just for him. I want this team to have luck next year even if I have to stand outside of there headquarters and protest we want luck. And I swear if we get him I'll will b 1 of the first to have his jersey

I'd give up TWO 1sts, TWO 2nds and potentially another pick (or two, depending where they are). Luck is definitely what we need and 2 years later (when he's coming into his own) we'll long have forgotten about the picks used to get him.

That said, Carolina wants this guy just as bad as we - or anybody else - does. They know what a franchise QB means to a club. Not to mention, they'll need someone like Luck to contend with the likes of Drew Brees, Matt Ryan and now Josh Freeman.

Realistically, if I was them, it would take more than what I offered to pry him away from me.

That would not be even close to getting it done. Maybe just maybe if you added another first for next season it would be enough but I even doubt that.
