this is imo niners best option after luck...he has prototypicasl size, is athletic, which niners could use given their inability to pass block, he has the arm to make all the throws, he has experience in a pro set, and a good teacher in sarkisian... he showed good values in coming back to washington than going for the bucks last year, where he was rated right with sam bradford as a prospect.... he has beaten usc twice, inlcuding nice comeback this year..and was big vs notre dame in 2009, almost leading his team back to beat the irish...he hasnt had the best surrounding cast up in seattle either

I would much rather draft Andy Dalton than Jake Locker at this point. At least Dalton can throw the ball but is still mobile enough to avoid the rush. IMO Alex Smith is a better passer than Locker.

I think the case just got stronger with Harbaugh aboard. He witnessed Locker firsthand in the Pac-10 and saw the kind of talent he is. Locker is the same type of fiery competitor that Harbaugh is. Locker at #7 is looking like a real possibility.

I think Locker didn't have much to work with. I'd take him in the first in a trade down, but if he has a good Senior Bowl and combine we might have to take him at #7.
