It's kind of weird to see that this female reporter is about as tall as Dalton. I am assuming she is wearing heels. Also, Dalton has some seriously mean eyebrows.

The last ginger we had was a pretty decent QB.
Dalton in the 2nd round would be fine with me.
I would still prefer we trade down in the first and grab one of the OLB prospects like Aldon Smith, Kerrigan, Houston or Ayers.

Who was our last ginger? Steve YOung and Joe both were not gingers...

Watching all his highlights I really though his best fit was as a 4-3 end, but with his measurements he really looks the part of a 3-4 ROLB, and I know many in this forum believe that he can not only make the transition, but be a monster at that position
Count me as one of'em... Kerrigan seems to bear a strong resemblence to both Clay Matthews and Chris Long - Certainly didnt think he could shed down to mid 250's, but now that he has - WATCH OUT!!! If he shoes the necessary athleticism he could even make me think twice about taking Quinn at 7... Ideal situation would have us grabbing Amukumara at 7 and trading back up to mid teens to double down with Kerrigan... The possibilities...

if that scenario was to happen and amukumara and kerrigan turn out to be legit our defense will be sick

Some final thoughts on Day 1. I got to re-watch everything at home and keyed in one a few guys.
First the QB's
Locker did not impress me, plain and simple. Being the highest rated QB in attendance he did nothing to elevate himself above the competition. For all the hype surround him, I would give him a -1 for the day.
Kaepernick needed a 2nd viewing to get a handle on. At first shot I had a very so-so feeling about him. Big body but he looks like a teenager that hasn't grown into himself. After the second time around he looked a lot cleaner to me. His passes were faster, tighter, and more accurate. He has intrigued me, +1 for the day.
Stanzi unfortunately didn't get much screen time. Most of the day was about the previous two, couldn't get a great beat on him. But in the limited time he looked decent, nothing great and nothing bad. For the day, he's at 0
Titus Young is the sexiest WR so far. Small, quick, and agile the boy has some skills. As reported he had stop drops today so that will be an area to watch.
John Moffitt is a decent OG/C to watch. Mayock had good things to say about him and the Wisconsin OL of recent have been good quality. Could be a good move in the mid rounds if he's there.
Kerrigan is a stud!! He looks like he could put some more weight on without losing speed. At this point its reported that Jax and NE have been talking to him. He's probably just a cock tease unless we trade down.
Jeremy Beal got his ass beat a lot.
The top 3 OT's looked very good, and very very tall.
Vincent Brown had a lot of balls thrown his way. Not sure why he was locked in on so much but he got a good share. So far he seems trusted by all 3 QB's.

This should excite the Locker fans. I don't who Shane Lohman is but if its on Twitter then its the truth.
San Fransisco meeting with Jake Locker. Seems like a good fit to me. #SeniorBowl
Not surprised. I'm sure they look at all the first round QBs..
I think it's clear that you're not a fan of him and that you believe he's another Alex. I think it's clear to EVERYONE that's your take on him.
That's fine and I respect it, but for purposes of discussion maybe you don't need to repeat that over and over again everytime there's a Locker post? At least in this thread since, like Tohara said, there's some great info/discussions going on.
We don't need more SD's than we already have
Dude, I don't hate Jake Locker. All I said he reminds me of Alex when throwing the ball.Plus that he looked bad today, which isn't a lie at all.. All I said was the will be looking at first round QBs.. That's not a shot. That's a fact. lol
Locker is overrated, as is every other supposed 1st rd QB, Newton, Mallett and Gabbert.
DING DING DING! We have a winner

Vincent Brown and Demarco Sampson were both amazing receivers for SDSU this year. I could see Sampson going to the Colts and becoming yet another late rounder who flourishes in their system.

I only watched this kid play one game, but I was impressed. Him and the other kid... Elmore, I think... both got a lot of pressure on the QB. I think both could play OLB in 3-4... I don't watch much college ball, though.

agreed!
I was not impressed with locker at all. all of his passes were off target and he seems to be just as big a project as everyone else.
