He reminds me so much of Peyton Manning in these highlights. I know Mallet once said he was studying the big three quarterback( Brady, Manning, and Rivers) to take stuff from their game and it's really obvious he's injected a lot of Manning into himself.

I'd take a Bledsoe on our team any day

He could also turn out like Matt Schaub. And he has been in a pro style offense and could probably play day 1.

I see Jeff George or Kerry Collins. He'll be a starter in the league for a good 8 years may even make a few Pro Bowls but it's going to be a rocky road with ups and downs.
If he's there in the 2nd and the rest of the qbs are gone I'd be happy with the selection. Wouldn't trade up for him, wouldn't take him over Kaepernick.

Can you explain why you think it'll be a rocky road for him? I think he's much more pro ready the Kaepernick as a player, so I assume you are alluding to his character concerns?

I liked Gabberts footwork and balance early on but he seems stiff and slow while Mallet looks agile and coordinated and while he may be slow in the 40 he drops back quickly and with his length I think he gets a big drop very quickly. He also looks pretty nimble for his size. I think strictly as for his play as a qb, he will be among the best of the qbs. As for the qb intangibles that they display, I feel Ponder and Dalton are the best.

Of all the passers, everyone is saying he is the most ready and best talent, just that he has a head case. Thats why I think like some on the zone that he reminds us of Jeff George. Talented but is moody and a head case.

Wouldn't be ideal, but I wouldn't be too disappointed either. Harbaugh would obviously see what he wants in Mallett. If they want him, go and get him!

Wouldnt take him at 7, depending on how the draft is going I'd consider trading up from the 2nd round pick to take him

Hey, Mallett met with the 9ers on Monday right? How come there are not articles about it? Forget Cam and Blaine or any of these other jokers, give me Mallett. He is head and shoulders above all these guys from a pure passing standpoint. They even said so during the combine when he destroyed the competition. I love the media, they latch onto something and never let it go. He had a bad interview, real bad, and most likely smoked pot and got drunk when he was in college..WOW...big shocker! CBS has an entire article about Ponder, and Dalton and Stanzi and the rest of these jokers, this is all they said about Mallett =
"Mallett, who is from the University of Arkansas, has the biggest arm of all, and one general manager said he's the most NFL-ready of the group. But there are questions about his character. "
Thats it? Character? Last season, wide receiver Mike Williams and running back LeGarrette Blount slipped into later rounds or weren't drafted due to character issues. They became steals for their respective teams.
Now Nick Farley and Clayborn are dropping because of Character issues?? Come on, these are kids, they all have character issues.
Everyone loves Cam Netwon, but if you want character issues..how about..
1. Transferred out of Florida after facing felony charges on burglary, larceny and obstruction of justice.
2. The pay-for-play controversy with his father
3. The most recent comments of wanting to be an icon and entertainer
But nobody says anything about that and agree he should be #1 overall.
The media kills me..forget interviews and the combine, WATCH THE TAPE OF THEM PLAYING FOOTBALL! When its all said and done, 5 years from now, Mallett with be the next Big Ben ( maybe in more ways than one ) and the best QB from this draft.
