The Cowboys have a wide open offense that just puts up numbers like Hawaii's does, but the Cows have better talent. heck Hunter is from there also right? they replaced him.

woah, different system, but puts up points in a similar way, way more talent though. Blackmon is by no means a product of the system, he's a legit top class WR. Pretty good run blocker too from what I've seen.

Yup. You made a good comparison in the last page. He's T.O. in Hakeem Nicks' body. If he's available when we pick next yr, we've gotta think about selecting him, especially with Braylon and Morgan possibly going elsewhere.
However, corner is so much more of a need. It'll be difficult if we had to choose between Blackmon or Dennard.

it's hard to say it, but WR IS A NEED, and I didn't think I'd be saying so soon after drafting Crabtree, who I thought for sure was a legit #1. And while he has the potential to be it, he looks more like a #1 at this point. He really needs to stay healthy
many don't realize it but his career so far is in a way mirroring Alex's: injuries and lack of consistent playing time is affecting him badly.the thing is:
JB81 is 6'1", 215 pounds
MC15 is 6'1", 214 pounds
so they are really similar to each other, while my perception of JB is more of a physical player while MC is more finesse (with no disrespect) I just don't know having two WR's similar in stature would be productive and beneficial to this offense. Coming into the season I was really excited about the prospect of a 6'5" Braylon on the opposite side of Michael, but looks like we're gonna have to wait for them to be on the field together, then wait some more until they both are gelled into this offense, that's IF no more injuries happen

Crabtree looked pretty good in his first game back yesterday. I think the guy just needs to be motivated. Still hoping that having a coach like Harbaugh can really get the fire lit in Crabtree. I believe that having Blackmon and Crab together would benefit us greatly. Yes, they are similar in size, but both are very different styles of receivers. You mentioned it yourself, Crab is more of a technician/finesse while Blackmon is the physical/explosive type of receiver. We'd benefit greatly in having that. Both are also very good run blockers.

can I be greedy and draft JB while giving Braylon a 2-year contract?

Flanker: Braylon
Split: Michael
Slot: Justin

Damn, I'd be happy with that. But you don't think Crabs would do better in the slot? I think he's ideal for the slot.

Niner fans (especially the NT kind of fans) will dismiss him as a potential pick just cuz he's from Ok. State. The memories of Rashaun Woods still linger.

No, I think they would dismiss him because if the Niners keep Edwards, they doubt they would draft another #1 WR, especially given all the holes on this team as there is.

Yup, this too. As much as I like Braylon, I doubt that he wants to stay especially if this offense doesn't start to open things up. The Bengal game was a good sign as we finally had a receiver with over 100 yards this season. Hopefully Braylon makes his presence felt once he comes back from injury.

i know the rams are bad but i do not think in no way form theyre 2nd overall bad, we can lose to them in st louis and im sure as the season goes on they'll add a few wins.
