I would think it's between Coffee and Dixon. Thet're too much alike. given the fact they drafted Dixon, I'd guess the niners aren't that high on Coffee. Plan B may be to dump the fullback.

And Robinson, while he provides little to no value as a runner, is a very good special teams player and he is the special teams captain. And when Norris is banged up, Robinson comes in as the FB (though in my opinion, not all that effective). Also, Singletary loves guys like Robinson who does everything he is asked of without complaint. Robinson is a blue collar football player.

Coffee is the running back whose roster spot is in jeopardy. When given the opportunity last year, he didn't look very good. Dropped a lot of dump off passes too. Lacked concentration. Granted it was his rookie year, but I don't think Singletary sees Coffee as a back capable of getting those short yardage conversions.
