A fantastic pick at #17. The next Larry Allen is certainly worth #17. And #11 with a RT was great too. This was a great draft.

really? losing a 4th round pick hurts? that is a littance to give up to get the guy you wanted from the beginning. especially if they valued him much higher then bulaga.

i couldnt be happier. i think once people see this offense actually function, gore tear it up, alex have waaaay more time, and we rank in the upper half for offense....they'll realize how important an offensive line really is....great job bahlke and jed...i bet alex is smiling somewhere....finally..a great OL..2 year in the same system , VD,crabs,gore,morgan..lookout nfl...we're back

Exactly he's much more of a mauler than Bulaga. And Bulaga got eaten alive by Brandon Graham. It was worth giving up a 4th to get the guy we want.

I was hoping for Haden at 13 but Davis and Iupati are great consolation prizes. And at least they didn't draft Earl Thomas- really glad he went to the Seahawks. He will be exposed. Vernon Davis will abuse Earl Thomas all day.
