no worries buddy.
Didnt think we'd start right away, but chose to start now rather than later to get this done as fast as possible.

No qb for the raiders mayo ? Ok, we all know that they don't draft like we think they should, but do you really think they would pass on Clausen ?
Me as the bills gm would have picked Clausen here in a second, but i didn't think he would fall to me so i trades for Brady Quinn earlier (maybe i should have waited 'till my pick was up) ;)

No, Davis' is all up DeMarcus's ass so they don't take a QB. They go with the workout warrior from Maryland.

Good thing you're not a GM. You gave up a king's ransom compared to what the browns got.

The Jaguars take Bryant before the Bronco's can get to him.

Any thought of JPP or Morgan there?

Thought about it, but Kampman is there now so they go with the Wr to give Gerrard some help.

As much as I want the Niners to be sure of getting a starting tackle in 2010, the pick at #13 should probably be Spiller. #17 should be Iupati. The RT should come in FA or in a later round.

Wow, sitting at #13 the 49er's have the following picks available to them:
Jimmy Claussen
CJ Spiller
Anthony Davis
JPP
I think we could trade this pick for the rights to Claussen and get an extra 2nd! Looking at the remaining draft, the Vikings are the only ones with a first rounder that I could see making this move. But do we want to move all the way down to #30? Plus I don't think the Vikings have the fire power; they would have to give up the rest of their draft picks to make that move. But, if they want to give up their second round this year and their first next year that might do it? I would make that trade.
We could draft CJ Spiller (Seahawks will probably take him) Anthony Davis, Mike Iupati, or Brandon Graham at #17. Then at #30 we have our choice of Jerry Hughes, Vlad Duccasse, Terrance Cody, Ryan Matthews/Javid Best (whomever is not taken by San Diego), Muarkice Pouncey, Jared Odrick, Patrick Robinson, Chad Jones,... A lot of possiblilities!

There isnt a chance in hell that Claussen is going to be available at #13 in real life. There are simply too many teams that need a QB. I think he will end up in Washington, Seattle, Cleveland, or Buffalo. I would guess that Cleveland at #7 is the lowest he goes.

Remember, this draft started before the Quinn trade, so I'm sure if we had to do it all over again, you would be right. However, I seriously doubt Buffalo would take Clausen knowing how badly they need a LT.

Now that Cleveland has traded away Quinn and release Anderson, what does that leave them with at QB?
They have to either draft a QB or trade for one. Does this show their hand a little bit?

I dont think Buffalo is going to have a shot at Claussen anyway. However, they really need new direction at the QB spot and taking JC wouldnt shock me at all. Like I said, Cleveland is the most likely bottom spot for Claussen.

I wouldn't have said that before the Quinn trade, but totally agree with you now given that move.

I'm not sure about that.Delhomme gets starter money in Cleveland, i really think they see something in him (whatever).
As for me trading for Quinn as the bills gm for a 4th rounder : Quinn played quite good before he got hurt. He looks to me like he can be a good player and so i took this gamble. A 4th rounder is reasonable in my oppinion. I could have taken Clausen, but i can wait a year and pick a qb if Quinn doesn't turn the corner, so i don't say i gave away too much for him.
