Marshall knocks off Ohio 21-17. Close game, WR Taylor Price couldn't get much going -- only 49 yards receiving.
Marshall OLB McClellan had a fumble recovery in the game.
Tune in to Pitt vs. North Carolina, crazy game so far with a bunch of fumbles all over the place, including one fumbled at the 1-yard line that would've been a TD, but ended up a touchback.

Another great game going here. 17-16 late in the 4th quarter. North Carolina leads #17 Pttt.
Romeus has had a really nice game. Marvin Austin hasn't done all that much.

HUGE mistake by Cam Thomas -- Jumped on a FG attempt and gave Pitt a first down. That could cost them the game.
Edit: Yes, yes it pretty much did. Pitt makes the easy, shorter FG. UNC Can't get down the field to attempt the game winner, Pitt wins 19-17. Dave Wannstedt gets a victory.
Mick Williams, DT, was outstanding. I tell you what, the guy is small and short, but his hustle and unbelievable quickness and power at that size really intrigues me and makes me believe he can make it in the NFL. Watching him all year, he absolutely looks like he can be an NFL player. Always going all out, always getting pressure, always getting penetration.
At DT, he certainly put up the numbers to say so -- 3 sacks, 15 TFL, 3 FF, 10 QB Hurries.
If guys like Anthony Adams and Mike Patterson (Eagles) can go day one at 5-11 300 pounds. Mick Williams, at 6-0 282 and a quicker player, should be considered a draftable prospect. I expect him to last until the 6th or 7th, but grade him as an early 5th rounder. I wouldn't mind if at all if we added him as a situational player.

Time to see if Taylor Mays is worth a look in the first round. Also want to see how Eversen Griffen performs. Emerald Bowl just kicking off.

My focus is going to be all on Damian Williams. I've seen enough of Taylor Mays to feel I'd rather not select him.

During game, announcers talked about how Wannstedt recruited 16 defensive lineman in his first two years to rebuild the program. He has some good talent up front and North Carolina has some players on the d line, too. Wish Scotty had the same eye for talent as Wannstedt and Davis.............

He is playing true to form........Mays has been totally invisible and so is Griffen.

Yep. Watch out for Rich Gunnell, the BC receiver. He's a late-round UDFA guy, probably won't be drafted (which I why I didn't include him in the list).
Mike McLaughlin reminds me a little bit of Gary Plummer.
Damian Williams is playing well. And yeah, Mays and Griffen are nonexistent today.
BC's Montel Harris is a very, very special back. He's going to be a big-time prospect soon.

announcers have said he takes bad angles and was out of position on that last touchdown

I really like Damian Williams, wouldnt be a bad pickup in the 2nd rd for some team needing WR help.
Whats your projection on Mays OTC? Is he a 1st rd pick soley on the fact he went to USC. Personally, I cant stand him, im not high on him, but i see a team like Houston or Atlanta taking Mays in rd 1 if Earl Thomas decides to stay at Texas.

He'll go in the first based purely on his freakish physical physique and hitting ability. Someone will reach based on need and take Mays.
Edit: Now I'm no BC fan.. but Boston College is being absolutely screwed by the refs tonight. I have never, ever seen such horrifically and blatantly wrong calls. Specifically in those reviewed plays, they've given USC a HUGE advantage that they don't deserve. The calls are wrong to the point where I feel something just isn't right. I want USC to win, but not like this. It feels like the officials are trying to hand USC the game.

I like what I have seen from Damian Williams. OTC do you think he could be a good returner in the league?

I think he could be at least a decent return man. Based on his play today, I think he solidifies himself as a solid 2nd round pick. Workout numbers could push him up or down, of course.
