I would love to nab Dexter McCluster in the third round. Assuming we've taken care of our RT,S,QB issue.

List has been edited to add DT Price.
Love the way Price plays the game....to bad we won't be interested given he's more of a 4-3 DT.
Indeed. If he were miraculously available in the 2nd, which barring some horrific injury, he won't be, otherwise I'm certain we'd nab him to play 3-4 DE.

Hey OnTheClock, what do you think of Wisconsin QB Tolzien?
I don't think he's entering the draft but I really liked what I saw in him in the bowl game against Miami:
1. Pro-style offense
2. Quick release
3. Stands tall under pressure
As a Smith fan, call it the anti-Alex Smith
My one concern about Tolzien could be his arm strength but I only say that because I didn't see him take any shots down the field. Again this is just what I saw from my eyeballs..

I admit I didn't pay much attention to Tolzien last night, as I had my eyes other places, but overall.. He needs to get better when playing top tier competition. The commentators noted he was 0-6 this year facing ranked opponents with some dreadful performances.
Right now, he's just an average QB at best. Hasn't been up near the numbers required to be even a middle-round QB. Despite being in a pro-style offense, he doesn't have big-time size, and as noted, the arm either. A quick release can only get you so far (look at Shaun Hill, UDFA). So right now, even with improvement, I see Tolzien as a late round guy. 6th-UDFA range.

Glad to see that you don´t rate Brandon LaFell as high as most do.
For the life of me, I've never understood why he is considered a 1st rounder by so many. I have seen absolutely nothing on the field to indicate that. He's been solid, but unspectacular. He's made some good plays from time to time, and sure he has a good combination of size and speed, but LaFell likely is not going to do all that much more than Michael Clayton is doing right now.
LaFell schooled Haden who is considered by many to be one of the top CB prospects in the country. That's one of the reasons he's ranked so high.

But wasn't that Haden's freshman year? I don't remember LaFell being much of a factor against the Gators this year.

This video is from last year. LaFell would've had a much bigger game if he'd hung on to a couple and if the throws were better but he was open all day long.

This video is from the SEC championship game. You don't see much pass coverage since Alabama ran the ball down Florida's throats all day long but what you do see is a glaring weakness in run support from Haden.

I know he is a middle round guy, but I would like the OG Carter from Texas Tech. I just think our oline could use a d**khead like him.
