I could care less if he comes from a spread offense or a pro-style offense. I just want a QB who can read defenses, throw accurately, and has a quick release over a QB with a cannon of an arm.
I'd rather have a Drew Brees than a Jamarcus Russell.

I'd rather have a qb that's accurate than have one with a rocket arm. I'm going with Locker. IMO he has the best quarterback coach and has done more with less.

Yeah rocket arm isn't needed, but it certainly helps if he can make all the throws. Locker has improved with Sarkisian, but he's still shaky....i'm not enamored with any of the qbs, but am intrigued by what Sarkisian has done with Locker.

I like Clausen too, but he does struggle with the vertical down the field throws, something we haven't been good at in a while.

I like McCoy, someone tell me what is wrong with him? Every time I see him pressured he makes good decisions, and I am sure he can be had with that pick from Carolina.

7 ints in the red zone this season. Despite that I still think he's a really good player and has more "moxy" than any other qb. He's a gamer to say the least.........I just think he should be a second round pick that's all. He'll be there with our second first, but I just don't think we're in a position yet to be reaching on guys. Draft is all about value.

From all the games I've watched, Claussen throws the best deep ball in college football.

ha. have you seen any of his highlights this year. he throws the deep ball where the receiver always has a chance to catch it and he hit his receiver in stride on the deep post. also on the tight end fly. just sayin

It is true Claussen throws the best deep ball if you dont see this than you do not watch college football. And to whoever said they like quarterbacks with accuracy over a strong arm so Locker should be the choice... how does that make sense, Locker's accuracy is probably his weakest attribute.

Nate Davis has a pretty accurate arm. I think we should invest in OL and Pass Rusher rather than QB. Nate Davis was considered a first day pick and even a first rounder before a poor performance in the bowl game hurt him and some say his own coach also hurt his stock. Davis has shown arm strength and poise so far.

I do think Davis can pan out to be our starter. Plus, 1st round QB's disgust me nowadays.
Maybe we can grab a later round backup guy w potential like a Case Keenum or Dan leFevour or take a flyer on a Thad Lewis.
