Yeah i feel Scotty would rather use the 1st and 2nd round picks elsewhere. I like Dexter McCluster in the 3rd round.

yes and they better be on the Oline.
I don't know guys. Don't under estimate the value of a explosive play-maker at four positions for our team...KR, PR, RB, and WR. A C Johnson-type who by the time the combine is over will be viewed as high if not higher than Beenie last year which I think was around the top 15.

My point is that after seeing what Bush and Harvin can do in the playoffs and Cribbs, Hester, Knox, etc. during the season, a Spiller would be a welcome addition to our arsenal especially in the hands of Rathman and Shotty. He can develop into a solid RB in the NFL while learning from one of the most hardest workers in the NFL, Gore.

Not only that, but you can see how natural he is in space, just a natural. Juke you once, juke you twice, guess what? TD!!! This is Spiller. He has "IT" like Maclin, like Harvin, like Cribbs and he takes care of so many needs in one!

Not matter what, I believe when it is all said and done, Scotty, Mike, Jimmy, Kurt and Tom will all come to same agreement...damn! We have to have this kid!

The best thing is I believe we can still get our franchise RT or LOG with the second pick in Williams, Bulaga or Iupati.

Everytime I review his clips, he stands out! Even my wife, who is just now understanding why I love this aspect of the NFL process, went wow! She just said when was the last time we had a RS who made an impact...Dexter Carter, John Taylor? Dang, it is time we get someone who can just scare teams to not kick to him, she said.

Some times the obvious does slap you in the face.

PS She wanted me to ask this question, "Didn't Gore get injured in the last few season, taking him out of games sometimes more than one? To which I said "Yes". So folks, do we want Coffee and Robinson to be our primary weapons after Gore goes down which is inevitable in this league?

Depth wins championships! We have to have that talented depth. Spiller to go with Gore and Coffee. Williams/Bulaga/Iupati in place of Snyder/Pashos. Or Iupati in place of Baas.

So yea, Spiller is definitely a viable option.

The more I look at these highlights, the more sense it makes to add Spiller along with an offensive lineman in the first. Then again, McCluster wouldn't be a bad alternative in the third if they decide to pass on CJ.
Damn. After those highlights I hope he lasts till 13. Take a OT at 16/17 and we can find a good guard with our 2nd
CJ Spiller - at 13 would be great
OL - at 16/17 and round 2
whether that be zone darling Iupati or an OT, or OT and guard I'm all good

my dream draft
Staley-Iupati*-Baas-Rachal-drafted OT

McCluster wont last till the third so I hope we take him in the second.

i agree with you that we need to move baas over to center. i'm just not sold JS being a top notch Left OT. he's more suited for the right-side
baas over heitmann.

what the hell is wrong with you people.????

I really don't get this either.
what seems to be going overlooked is that spiller played last year with turf toe, so if he can do all of that hurt, what will he do when he's healthy?
I like the idea of getting Spiller in the 1st more and more. He is the definition of a guy who can score everytime he touches the ball. Look at the acceleration he has got. This is special (watch the two runs against Georgia Tech at around 1 minute in the video). This is awesome. This is how Chris Johnson looked when he ran away from our defense this year. I wan't this kind of weapon on our team and i think we have to take him and an OT in round 1. I love Iuapti, too, but our picks are too high to pick a guard.

I hope the Niners draft the next Billy Sims.

Although it wouldn't help keep the defense off the field....after a touchdown, the defense has to go back out...

Spiller = Sims = draft Spiller.

Math made easy. Draft, too.

If your comparison was accurate there would be no way he dropped to us with a handful of teams needing a RB more than us.

What's real funny is if he runs in the 4.4's half of you guys well jump off his sack faster than the starship. That alone tells me he's not as great as people make him out to be.

I don't care what his 40 time is im not al davis. His 10 yard dash is going to be amazing, the guy get's to his top speed in a flash.
