Seriously, I can't believe the zone this week. Gore has gone a long ways from when he really did used to be fumbling prone.

I think CJ Spiller would bring that homerun threat & speed dimension in which our offense really needs. We could even put him in the shotgun with Smith & Gore & have a ton of options of what we can do to defenses.

Other teams have 3 good RBs, why can't we? We could use Spiller on special teams, in shotgun, put him out at WR... all kinds of possibilities!

Agree. I will be very happy if we draft him!

he could be our reggie bush or percy harvin.

i don't think we'll trade for him because he's more likely to become a free agent. i'm all for signing him and using our picks for haden and trent williams

I think he will climb up boards to warrant a top 10 pick especially since he will be compared to CJ, Cribbs, Sproles and even Jackson. He just would give us an explosive playmaker on offense, in the spread, but especially on ST where it is evident that great returns can change the momentum of the game...look at all three I mentioned. Just look at what Cribbs did today.

I wouldn't be upset spending the first pick on him with the second one on the best OT available which still could be Williams, Buluga, Davis, Brown...nice choices for our second pick.

Take the best playmaker with the first one though...Spiller fits that mold. Heck, he's better for our offense than Maclin would have been.

We have the luxury of two picks. Use one on Spiller and the other on our future RT.

Let me pose this question to all:

Is it better to draft C.J. Spiller in the first round, along with an OT like Trent Williams or an OLB like Graham/Hughes - or - sign Darren Sporles in free agency and snag Williams and Graham/Hughes?

Option A:

Spiller
Williams (OT) OR Graham/Hughes (OLB)
(Possible OLB/OT pick in 2nd)

Option B:

Sporles (RB via FA)
Williams (OT)
Graham (OLB)
(Possible CB/S pick in 2nd)

Who ever we draft can the please not fumble. I want the players that don't fumble.
