It wouldn't be wasted. Alstot had a very very good career as a FB and I can see Gerhart as a version of him but better.

Vontaze Burfict is an animal. He's all over the field. He definitely has the potential to be a Ray Lewis LB but he needs a lot of growing. He plays with reckless abandon and gets way too many late hit calls. I like the intensity but he also needs a little more discipline. Good thing he has another 2 years to grow

He is a stud not a project. He will succeed at either just think he would be a HOF FB.

lol, no he didnt, i just dont like him, that and the fact that he was held back a year by his father so he could play another year of HS ball irritates me as well...but on the field, or off the field, i dont like him...

He is putting up the numbers, but lets be serious, he doesn't have the athletic ability to be a RB in the NFL. He is getting some big holes from his O-line and he isn't the kind of guy to create something from nothing. He would be a kick-ass FB though.
