Mike Alstott's big ass was impossible to bring down, same with rathman. gerhart is a beast. dude had 223 yards today against oregon!!!

Toby deserves Heisman consideration.

I'd take Toby over Glen Coffee as our backup rb. I think he is faster than people give him credit for and can absolutley play in the NFL.

Saw a quick segment on him on CSN and he said he had twin sisters on Stanford's softball team, I checked and there are no Gerhart's on the team I wanted to see if they were hot

I know this kid, he went to Norco High and kid was a f**kin joke, his dad was the head coach over there of the varsity football squad and so hes been playin varsity ball forever, he was held back AS A SENIOR (so he was a super senior) by his father so that he could "continue to grow and develop as an athlete" or some s**t, was a pretty big deal since questions arose in regards to him being eligible to playing 5 years of high school football and etc etc...f**king joke of a family (his brother btw starts at center over at ASU)...

But all personal s**t aside, I dont think he'll be anything special in the NFL, besides the fact that hes white and trying to be a RB, I just cant honestly say that this kid that I used to see at parties and in life will end up in the NFL and be successful at that level...theres no way...

But one kid that I went to HS with who WILL be something in the NFL...

Gerhart can play. He's going to go in the first two rounds in 2010 and do well in the NFL.

Probably because of the decline I see in Brandon Jacobs' play this year, but I don't see Gerhart's dominance translating to the NFL.

I do think he'll be extremely effective in a 2/3 RB system where he'd carry about 10-15 times/game, but I just don't see him as a featured back, not for a long time anyways.

I think Gerhart is going to be much better than one poster in here with jealousy and hatred issues seems to think. I think he will be a solid pro who will never be a feature back but can be solid in a 2 back system. My guess is that he will be a 3rd round pick

It wouldn't be wasted. Alstot had a very very good career as a FB and I can see Gerhart as a version of him but better.
