Eric Berry or Taylor Mays?

HELLO draft board. Its that time of the year, again.

I hope we pick up berry with one of our first rounders next year. The other I would hope would be spent on a OLB/DE or a tackle.

Our first 3 picks will probably be OLB/OT/?. If Berry or Bryant are available look for them to be the 3rd piece in the puzzle.
Here's a thought that's crossed my mind. Detroit's not going to want to pay another draft pick big time money. They can't sell their tickets, and they're at a point in their rebuilding mode where they have to select meat and potato guys. Would you guys swap #4 and #36 for our 2 1st rounders?

Berry and Jason Fox then grab the Will in the 2nd.

Hey guys, It's back!!!

This would be like that old Bill Walsh draft back when he drafted Lott, Wright, and the other DB.

I think everything else we need can be found in rounds 2-7 (OLB, OT, G, RB, DE or DT).

Your thoughts?
hell yeah. if we don't solve our tackle problem in the 1st, we're fcked.

Sorry, but. . .

No.

Even if Mays helped himself at the combine, he did not get past Berry, who also improved his already high, valuable stock. Berry's going in the top 10 for sure, maybe top 5.

Mays might go late first round, (unless the Faiders take him at #8, which shouldn't count cuz its the Faiders.)

If both Berry and Mays are there when the Faiders pick, and Al takes Mays over Berry, there might be another billboard in Oakland with a message from Faider Nation to Al. It wouldn't be nice, either.

Yeah because it's a waste of a pick. Our secondary isn't the issue, it was in 81.
I say we draft Bradford and Clausen

Retarded thread.

Why the hell would you even bring this up...it's not gonna happen so who the f**k cares if we'd be mad?

Biggest misperception on this board. You can find quality starters outside the 1st round. Not too mention, while our Rt needs an upgrade. The biggest problem with our oline was playcalling and personnel. We called the same type of run play what seems to be 75% of the time. We didn't challenge deep until mid to late part of the season. So teams blitzed the hell out of us.

The situation was entirely different then when we different areas of need.

I'd agree if we were the Colts, Saints or Patriots...but we're the 49ers lol
I would be extremely upset if we did.
