I have seen a lot of mocks that have Mays being drafted by us...i know it is SUPER early...but i just thought it was interesting that so many mocks had us taking Taylor Mays

Most early Mocks, if not ALL are wrong, so I wouldn't think too much of it.

No way that happens if Mays really is a world class athlete (sub 4.4 speed with excellent size/strength). Maualuga also had character/maturity issues that I don't think Mays has. I also believe Mays is held in high regard by the coaching staff, which also should count for something during draft season.

I say eric berry. However I think mays is the only player who will be available when we are drafting. That being said would you trade up to get berry and wait on addressing the o-line?

A playmaker vs. a hard hitter and great tackler? Both are very good, but based on where are defense is now, it's clear we need game changers and playmakers. Berry all the way.

Mays is not a great tackler in my opinion. He is a hard hitter who goes for the knock out shots but doesnt wrap up well.
