That's way too much
All we can hope for is that the Jed is willing to spend some serious money this offseason. Need the Niners to be as committed as the Hawks and the Rams are going into the frenzy.

It's a lot. If it's true, I'm sure there will be some slick Paraag details in there.

I would love to have Pierce, so if they do shell out that much for him, I won't be doing much complaining. It's going to be nice to finally have a real vertical threat that isn't some smallish WR.

By all accounts, Pierce is a team-first, high-character individual with no football red flags. I definitely could see the 49ers loving the person and feeling like they must sign him with the gaping hole at XWR.

Wowzie! That vertical threat we all been hoping to get? It's going to be expensive.
I feel besides the Pierce and Doubs rumors, its been a little quiet on trade rumors for us. It has me thinking were in for a potential big sign trade.

Oh s**t it might be true!!!!

Josina Anderson reports the market for free agent Alec Pierce "may be too much" for the Patriots, but that the 49ers "might pay it."

Field-stretcher Pierce would be a strong fit in the Patriots' offense, but they might believe he's not enough of an upgrade on their current Kayshon Boutte/Mack Hollins tandem to justify more than $30 million per season. The 49ers, meanwhile, could be tired of waiting for former first-rounder Ricky Pearsall to stay healthy. Pierce is predictably generating wide interest after the Colts surprisingly let him reach the open market, but he is still most likely to end up with a cap-flushed, receiver-desperate team like the Titans.
