It's makes too much sense for it it happen lol

Seriously right? This move will improve our team quite a bit for years! It will help our secondary and Bosa. If we don't trade for him or Houston's End, at least sign Jonathan Allen

So did Dallas get under the cap?

I did not see any roster moves or news of contract restructuring.

Hell yeahhhhhh boys!!!! I knew it would take more than a fourth but I'm so glad we used our third rounder which could've been another bust of a running back or receiver and instead we get a very great defensive tackle who ranks among the top tackles in the league over the last couple years

Great value. This DT is among the top for qb hits, pressures and pressure rate vs double teams. He is unstoppable at times which is what we need to close out games. Great value for a late 3rd rounder. Our DL is looking promising
I was hoping it'd take less, but its a good move of appropriate value. I mocked a pass rushing DT to us in the 3rd anyway, and now its a sure thing.
Do the 49ers trade for players, sign cost efficient players, or draft players?
DE
Maxx Crosby trade
Jonathan Greenard trade
Thib trade
Bosa sign

WR
Brian Thomas Jr trade
Christian Kirk sign
Draft any of many players
WR should be a budget signing or draft pick
DE will very likely be where they try to get a superstar player. Personally, I would prefer anyone but bosa.
Supposed calls from the Steelers inquiring about Mac Jones have been made. Trade him for a draft pick or 2 before he walks next year and they get nothing in return. What would be acceptable in a trade of Mac Jones?

I would gladly trade Mac Jones for a 2nd to the Steelers & make a trade for WR Brian Thomas Jr

And then sign Russell Wilson to be our backup. Would prefer Cousins but sure he wants a chance to start.

On mock sim site said PIT's #85 + #121 + 2027 7th is equal value to Mac Jones. So basically a mid 3rd and mid 4th round pick + a 7th next year.

I'd do that trade to get value for Jones. Really good players at #85 and #121 and both those picks give us flexibility to move around in the draft and go get a player we covet.

Trade for a pick in the 150s and draft Sawyer Robinson to compete with Rourke for QB2 if they aren't sold on Rourke. But I think they like Rourke a lot but apparently not enough to move on from Mac without "astronomical" draft compensation.

However, if Purdy goes down injured and Mac comes in all Niner fans will still feel hopeful that we can contend for a SB. That's not nothing and has value.

Absolutely no way on Wilson.
Now for the DE signing or trade.
Trade for thib
Sign Clowney or Cameron Jordan
Sign njoku to be the primary TE role.
Wait on a safety to be cut.
Feels like the 49ers are setting up to draft OL this year. LT, LG, and C should be addressed in the draft.
Trading Mac Jones is gonna net a 3rd or less for the 49ers. KS is not gonna let Kirk Cousins walk away again.

Um are you serious? Do I misunderstand you? You are suggesting that we trade Mac for a 3rd or less? So, a 4th or 5th? Or is that still too high?

No.
