Trade targets

No.

Now for the DE signing or trade.
Trade for thib
Sign Clowney or Cameron Jordan
Sign njoku to be the primary TE role.
Wait on a safety to be cut.
Feels like the 49ers are setting up to draft OL this year. LT, LG, and C should be addressed in the draft.
Trading Mac Jones is gonna net a 3rd or less for the 49ers. KS is not gonna let Kirk Cousins walk away again.

Yes. You are completely misunderstanding. KS will go out of his way to finally have cousins on his team. This will very likely lead to a trade of Mac Jones to make room for cousins.
I have zero belief that shanny will prioritize Kirk over Mac let alone to the degree that hes willing to sell Mac for pennies on the dollar to make it happen.
If another team is not willing to give up a low first, high second for "blood and guts Mac",
then he's not going anywhere. The Super Bowl window closes after this year and they need Mac there ready to fight if Brock goes down.

Jessie Bates should be talked about, he'd be perfect for this defense, obviously he'd reunite with Raheem Morris but he's the exact type of S we have been needing, Him with Mustapha would make a great duo. Thing is his cap hit is at 24 million, I guess a trade with an extension would fix it, I'd do it, a 2027 3rd should get it done. Thoughts ?

i really do think S is a strong priority in the draft

Where does this closure of the mythical Super Bowl window come from?

I agree he would be a great fit here, not sure if we could afford him or are willing to invest that much money in the position. He's only 29 years old and has 27 career interceptions.
I think there's a really good chance they'll move him. They drafted Xavier Watts and Billy Bowman then they made a trade for Philadelphia safety Sydney Brown giving up a fourth round pick for him. I found this a little confusing if they plan on keeping Bates.
If we could get him for one of our 4th's that would really give us some flexibility in the draft.

Him and Sigle would be the duo. Mustapha is on borrowed time.

His hit would only be 14 for 9ers.

If anything, this year showed our window is more dependent on coaching than anything else.
Harrison Smith is 37 and available. He could be the #4 safety and step in if the others regress more. He'd be a stop-gap fill-in just like Mike Evans or Greenlaw. There's room for a couple more like Bitonio at LG.

There's a lot of good Safeties in this draft, but would love to pick up a veteran to go along with the young guys. I would love to see them pick up Jessie Bates but I doubt Lynch pays that much for a Safety.

Rams signed everyone, won a superbowl, cut everyone and are back to be contenders not long after that

a well run team doesn't just have their "window" closed and fade into irrelevancy for years

Just love how fans give a player one year to turn into a Pro Bowler. When they don't, it's "CUT HEEEEEM" and move on. No patience.
Id trade for Dexter Lawrence soooooo freaking fast
