No there was no 2nd rd pick.

If is your key word. If I won the lottery, I wouldn't be working lol. Huf and Dre can't stay healthy. They can't keep paying players that can't stay on the field. You cool with paying banks $77M?

damn near every player we've lost we already have a replacement for them on this team.

they got work to do BUT we were one of the oldest teams with a bunch of bloated contracts from trying to go for it. Time to recalibrate and getting younger.

Brock is gonna have to step up, he's the face of the team and gonna get massively compensated. That's just the reality of paying a young QB. Gonna have to draft better

You're right there was no 2nd round pick, add on another 1st round pick. lol more fail.

I said if they were healthy. And if they were healthy they wouldn't have be signing elsewhere, 49ers would've retained one of them.

I won't deny that the 49ers were the oldest team, but that's why they need to fill holes. Make moves. I just want to see the 49ers win the Super Bowl in Santa Clara. I'm not saying sign everyone, I'm saying fill a couple holes to help with the incoming rookies.

Brock is Brock, they will get him signed and cap figured out for the future to keep building the team. I'm not worried about his contract or him.
Anyone know what releasing Floyd did with our cap? Dead cap?

Only 1.5 savings unless he's designated as a post June 1 cut. I really thought it would be a good rotation with hopefully Bosa because we need to keep him healthy if we do sign him

Getting younger. Honestly the only player i think that we let walk that we shouldnt have was Greenlaw. We are only 24 hours into free agency. We'll get some bargain players in here for sure.

I guess what you call a mass exodus to get younger, I call rebuilding. It just sucks that this mass exodus always happens to a recent SB contending roster the year that the superbowl is in santa Clara lol

Relax braddah lol. FA just started; we were never going to get any of the high priced guys with all the high priced guys we already paying on our team (and off of it lol) and with Purdys upcoming deal. They are not done making moves and filling holes brah I promise you

Two yrs of 1sts given up. They draft a QB regardless in 2021 and end up with McCorkle if they stayed pat. Loss regardless.

you can fill holes without having to pay above market prices in a s**t free agency. We aren't the giants or jags. They will get some players, they don't have a choice lol.

Brock is gonna have to be more than what he was last yr to justify his cash and he's gonna have to do with without a rockstar roster of in their prime (expensive) vets around him. That's just the facts of the situation. Gonna need young players on rookie contracts and Brock is gonna have to lead the way there. Not just be a part of it.

Point is, everyone that's worth signing, is gone. I just feel like (and I've never said this before) the goal is to build the roster and not compete for a Super Bowl this season.

Staying put and missing on McCorkle would've been much less costly.

Overall they still have a top 5 TE, LBer, RB, LT, EDGE, top 10 CB and where ever you have Brock.

toss him some young talent at WR/OG/DBs

Yup we got holes, we're not the panthers or anything. This team can still win the NFCW then after that anything can happen.

Don't know about the source, but I feel like it's accurate.

Bottom 5 kicker and no DTs. We hopefully can get a wildcard spot but we will have to land multiple starters in the draft.

They're not winning a Super Bowl paying Allen $60M or banks $77M

still a ton of decent players out there that can contribute. The draft is where it's gonna happen for this team going forward. That's kinda the case with most well run teams .

U've been saying that since KS10 got hired.. it's time to realize that the team will just go back in circles over and over and over because Shanny can't win with the players he has and will continue to make it look like he's rebuilding over again..

I think so too but we need to rotate him with someone else, besides Sam Okawano (sp). We can't rely on the draft bc we may only spend a high pick on a T DE or DT, and can't address all 3 assuming they are all going to contribute
