i like Eddy. 4th all time speaks for itself. hitting 60 yarders is sexy but you don't need that very often. just get a guy who can put em thru the posts close to 90%. hopefully eddy crushes the workout and we got a good one

Who ever is the new kicker is going to get a heroes pop from the first home game when he trots on the field.

I'm going to be honest and say I'll go in with a positive attitude for any kicker we sign. That will change if he sucks over time but I'm just happy moody is gone. You can't keep having a replaceable player not do his job and no consequences

your gonna have to show me where he's 3-7

from pro football reference, last year from 40-49 he made 6 of 8
that's 75%

career he's 32/41 = 78% from this distance
from 50+ he's 11/14 = 78%

again, career, he's 4th all time all field goals. that's not bad. any kicker that you sign into the NFL season with week 1 in the books is probably gonna have some warts. his is he doesn't have a big leg, he's gonna kick at 50 yds not much longer than that

Can we just get a kicker with a strong leg to kick kickoffs in the back of the endzone? If he can do that, then we can just try for TDs instead of FGs if he has no accuracy.

Touchbacks aren't brutal now. 35 yard starting position may as well kick it out of bounds it's a 5 yard difference.

Yeah, the 3 for 7 from 40-49 yards was in 2019, not last season.

I would be fine with kicking out of bounds or the back of the endzone. Don't trust letting the opposing team return it.
