Jake Moody-K-Michigan 3rd Round 2023 Draft

Good.

It has just become too much. With kickers, there's multiple factors that have to be going right. Technique, consistency, overall vibes/confidence. The last is the most important in many ways. Even if Moody improved his technique it didn't show up in consistency, and the vibes had gotten so bad that I don't think they could ever be overcome in SF. We'd reached the point of no return, IMO.

Really? Interesting. It must mean his heart just was not in the game.

i looked at the cash he has about 2.5 mil in cash, now maybe that's gross, maybe he only got 1.5m or so. what would u do with 1.5m at 25, not a bad setup

Robbie Gould

Gould is long retired, 42, and would be expensive. Let. Him. Go.

Yeah, but would you choose to just walk away from the line of work that paid that kind of cash? For a career that will not pay nearly as much? I would not. Especially since this is a league that thrives on second chances.

He's coaching high school football in Illinois.

it would be hard for him to get more nfl millions. probably best he can do is stashed on a practice squad or kick for UFL and i don't think those guys make a whole lot.

lol

this is what i was thinking. if they liked joseph, they would have kept him. they didn't like what they saw from him i guess..

Eddy Pineiro is such an odd case. Not a great leg but pretty accurate on FGs inside of 50 yards. On the other he has missed 10 XPs over his short career. How does that make sense?
What team is going to look at Moody's record and think - I got to get me some of that?

Retirement? More like exiled.
