so long, Jake. thanks 4 the memories

The memories of being all clinched up and dread filled everytime this guy went to kick? Lol

Worst feeling ever was in the SB and he actually made that one under lots of pressure. But watching that was absolutely horrible though haha.

They f*cked this one up, Robbie! (Still miss you) lol

So which weak legged kicker are the 49ers bringing in? Can they get a soccer player of their own instead?

They may be able to get someone on loan from Leeds United.

So long Jake, I will at least give you props and say you did well in the Super Bowl

Didn't he miss an XP that would have prevented OT?

It was blocked, as I recall. Hard to put that on him.

Yes he did
It's the right move. Sign Greg Joseph. I will gladly give up some distance. For accuracy and consistency. It's more important. Long kickoffs don't matter anymore either. You need to hit the landing zone otherwise they move it way out on a touchback. You are penalized effectively on long kickoffs. So that part of the game is removed. You don't need a big leg anymore. Give me a guy who can hit consistently from 50 yards on in. That's more important. Just put the kickoff in the landing zone.

I don't even care. Robbie was considered weak legged but I'd take "money from anything under 50 yards" as a trade off for a big leg

Wow, I can't believe it took us this long. Most of these guys are decent!

When you have star players slamming their helmets down in frustration over another missed kick, you no longer have an option. I'm sure the decision was made yesterday but only announced today.

It doesn't matter now but the blocker got in so quickly the kick never had time to gain height. That one was on Hennessy but it didn't matter. Moody was already gone.
