N'Keal Harry

Detroit has the worst wrs in the league. They should trade a 5th or something for this guy. How he gets 0 separation is astounding

He was never a separator, like the draft evaluators say "he catches good in a crowd... because he's always in a crowd."

IMO what I thought he could have been is a Dez Bryant/Sanu type of WR. They aren't separators either, but have strong great hands and can make consistent catches.

I wouldn't offer anything more than a late day 3 pick, and I'd rather he get's cut and we "recruit" him with Aiyuk….any other yr that cap hit isn't a big deal, but I think we could save about $1M signing him off the streets. He should also want to come here, our offense is perfect for his skill set.

I just have to believe there will be more enticing WRs available after cut downs than Harry.

N'Keal has been disappointing as expected. I thought New England was a terrible fit for a guy that can't separate on his own with the multitude of option and choice routes they run up there. I don't think he's a particularly great fit here under Jimmy because Jimmy doesn't throw guys open or make contested throws, which is required with a WR like N'Keal that doesn't create separation. I also can't speak on Trey in that regard because every dude he threw to at NDSU was running around wide open. But if anyone can get N'Keal open, it's Kyle, and I know he liked him during the draft process. N'Keal is somewhat like Deebo in that he comes alive with the ball in his hands. That's where he shines. He's also a massive body and willing blocker out of the slot, and I do think Kyle is looking for a big slot with those traits.

Ok, gotcha. I'd have to agree, but I don't think they spent much playing time together.

Wasn't Harry only with Brady for a few games during his rookie season though??? And then Crap Newton was his QB last year??

I wouldn't mind the trade if it were for a 5th or 6th round pick.

Yah I heard that before how he struggles to separate and all. But it seems Shanahan was interested in drafting him at the time and it seems his judgment in WR's has been pretty solid. So that alone would be enough for a look. IMO
