If Carlos Dunlap gets cut, seems likely, he would be a good option as a pass rusher that should command less money than the other guys available.

No draft picks and the least desirable spot for FA.

But yup, holding onto Watson against his will is a sure way forward.

At this point they'd be better off going for max draft picks, especially future years. Hard to see them not finishing bottom 2 next season so if they can rebuild their side a bit in 2021 then they can grab their next QB 2022.

Roll over any cap space they can clear this year and maybe, just maybe they won't still be a dumpster fire in 5-6 years time.

Threads don't exist in a vacuum, things connect and there will be related posts across multiple threads. If it's not off topic then what's the problem?

When Derek Carr was humming, this guy was instrumental to his success. Fantastic guard. Unfortunately, he's not a great fit for us. He's a big boy who is best suited in a power scheme.
