This. Give me Mac Jones at 12 before trading picks for Kirk.
I've been in favor of this over every other potential QB acquisition other than trading for Watson. Mac Jones is going to be a top 15 QB very soon if he lands with the right team.

Getting kirk will anger the fan base for sure. But at the very least we know kyle finally got the guy he wanted all this time so we'd know he has a plan for him. I wouldn't be excited but if we don't give up anything too crazy then if be okay with it. He could do what jimmy does with added deep ball accuracy and isn't hurt as much. Not a huge upgrade, very minimal, but he's gonna be available. Which is the bigger deal
But would rather have Watson or draft a young qb. This would be a band aid move.

Vikings just had their 4th highest scoring offense in team history. Cousins had a pretty damn good year. He'd be an upgrade over Garoppolo alone on the basis that he actually plays games.

I'm going to start the Fire Kyle Shanahan movement if he trades for Kirk Cousins. I'm totally serious...he doesn't deserve to coach this team any longer if he does this.

If they move for Kirk it tells you how little they want Jimmy lol. Awful

I'm saying the margin of error for Stafford to win a football game was not in the same planet as it has been for Kirky. It's the NFL not the SEC where you're backups are better than 90% of the teams you're playing.
