They wouldn't have to pay $45M next yr for Kirk. 3rd day of the new league yr his contract becomes fully guaranteed for the remainder of his contract.

I tried looking it up but all I found was that he's due 31 mil 2021 and 45 mil in 2022.

If he gets traded here, what are we on the hook for?

-trading for Deshaun Watson
-sticking with Jimmy G
-trading up in the draft for a QB

Moves that I'm NOT fine with:

-trading for Kirk Cousins

He seriously deserves to get fired if he does that.

Not totally sure either...I want to say he would cost $21M this yr and $35M in 2022. Basically the same as if you were to restructure Jimmy's contract.

Oh man this place is going to be entertaining when we make this trade. I can't wait lol

The funniest part is this place just spent the last week worshipping Stafford. Cousins' numbers are comparable to Stafford and he's had more playoff success than Stafford too

Honestly the only thing that would piss me off if we made this move is if we gave up too much.

Watson/Zach Wilson/Justin Fields/Aaron Rodgers >>>> Cousins I agree

But Cousins >>> Jimmy and it's not close.

I've had Shanahan's back his entire tenure here...I'm done with him if he does this though. I'll let the homers continue to Stan for him at that point.

False. Obviously not what I want but a competent, healthy QB is valuable.
That's the biggest issue with Jimmy.

I'm not 100% against it if we can't get Watson but no way I'm moving a 2 for him.

Yes. It's not my first choice. But I'd prefer it over Cousins.

My preferences were:

1) Trade for Deshaun
2) Trade for Stafford...too late for that.
3) Trade up to draft a QB
4) Keep Jimmy
