Did injuries ruin how he plays or just overall dysfunction in Philadelphia?
Injuries+Frank Reich leaving+injuries on that offense which have left him without targets to throw to or blocking.
Starting to feel like some of these Andy Reid guys aren't about s**t. Pederson has struggled without Reich and Nagy has no coherent offensive philosophy, just a bag of gimmicks. I don't hold out much hope for Bieniemy.
it's NOT that these coaches sucks, it just they don't have a MAHOMES type of QB... you give each one Mahomes and watch these coaches become very good and one of a kind..
as good as Reich can be, he's limited too because of Rivers plays and the offense just isn't complete yet..
a great QB can make any coaches look good, but any good coaches can not make a QB be as good..

PHILLY can trade Wentz pre June 1 and save a bit over $800K, but idk why we would take on his deal, plus he's really bad.
2021 he has $15.4M base salary, fully GTD, plus a GTD $10M roster bonus, $15M of his 2022 base salary is GTD on the 3rd day of the 2021 league year, while the remainder of his $22M base is GTD on March 15th 2022, in 2023 he is due a $5M roster bonus on March 15th, when he's 31, and has a $20M Non GTD base salary, and in 2024 he has another $5M roster bonus due on March 15th, with a $21M base at age 32. This contract is very very bad, I wouldn't take it on if I'm the 49ers.
Plus people talk about Jimmy not being healthy, Wentz has a major history of being injured, plus is just plain bad.

I doubt he's available, Dallas will tag him again IMO.

Dallas could end up with a top 5 pick and fall in love with a QB. A lot cheaper than handing out the $40 million a season Dak wants while potentially seeing similar win/loss results.

DAK'S DONE.... who Dallas and Jerry kidding??
1st of all, he's not worth 40 million even if that's the market... Jerry having the 5th overall pick will be all over WILSON... he knows best the kid best not fall to WASHINGTON..

Frankly, I could see NFC Philly trading CW to AFC Colts.
Not sure on the compensation but Philly would love to get out from under CW's absurd contract.
Also, I'm sure CW would rework his deal to get out of hell in Philly. It's a no-win situation for both parties.
Colts paid Rivers 14M for this season and I'm sure both the Colts and CW would find a way to make it work.
CW playing behind that excellent Colts OLine would excel!
IMO, paired back with Frank Reich would be ideal for both.

The Eagles would have to eat over $30 million at least in order to trade Wentz anytime soon. I don't see that happening. More likely that they can Pederson and then bring in a new HC to give Wentz a fresh start.

Wentz was too good his rookie year to think a good HC could not revive him. Jeffrey Lurie is not going to stand pat with Pederson after his sad year.

They can trade him Pre June 1, but it'd have to be before he is due his $10M roster bonus, they'd only save $800K.
