49ers Need to Add a Center!

The more I watch him play, the more I want the Niners to draft Iowa's Center, Linderbaum. Assuming he declares (hopefully). Watch him play - he's #65. He's physical, blocks well in the run game, stout in pass pro, and moves very well in space & in getting to the second level. He changed positions very early in his Iowa career from DL to OL and has just kept improving & improving. I like that kind of dedication to the game, to your position. I'm going to keep watching him but so far I like what I see.

I loved when we signed Kevin Gogan and Larry Allen. They brought an attitude and toughness to the OL.

Indeed....even Ron Stone, Guy Mc.Intyre, Roy Foster, and Ray Brown, Chris Dalman and Jeremy Newberry gave teams attitude!!!

Eh he's not worth the money, he's horrible in pass protection, and pretty much just bad overall. I've watched every Vikings games since he got drafted, he's not any good, struggled way too much. There's a reason the Vikes cut him.
Wonder what it would take to get Jason Kelce. Seemed pretty upset about Pederson tanking.

Linderbaum has already announced that he's returning to Iowa next year.

Alex Mack. He should be willing to take a below market deal to reunite with Shanahan in SF. And if Richburg does come back healthy, put him at RG.

Williams-Tomlinson-Mack-Richburg-McGlinchey w. Brunskill, McKivitz, and a rookie as depth. Skule can be our PS OL vet guy.

There's some speculation out there that Mack will retire.

I don't know Skule kinda sucks. He can go.
Does Mack have anything left? How old is he?

We need a center!
Mack is the only FA I want

he could have a Whitworth-like resurgence, back in the bay, back with Shanahan
