Yeahhhh I mean you're basically trading for the rights to give him a new contract. Still a good player, but this draft is full of good young safeties
But if you can get 1st round talent that is proven for a 3rd or 4th round pick that's a steal!!!

maybe a comp 4th but man I highly doubt they're gonna make him one of the highest paid S (APY) like he's gonna look for.
Like I said this draft is full of good safeties. We brought in Morris, let him cook.

JFM is way more doable than Hendrickson and a lot younger, Joey Bosa and Mack are about the same JB considerably cheaper. Bosa Brothers unite! Joey can take up the slack till Nick is all the way ready to go

+1
pass on everything
Gotta spend somewhere in FA. Dont have enough draft picks to fill our needs and we almost HAVE to draft a WR in the 1st and history suggests when we all know we need a WR early Shanalynch pick a WR early (Aiyuk, Pearsall, Deebo). So it's gonna be Boston/Cooper/Concepcion
What would you suggest?
Sign the best LG in FA and Doubbs?

i would like to "fix" the offense in FA and fix the D in draft
the offense needs a lot less work in a perfect world we need LG, C, WR, TE. I think getting a FA LG and WR (like robinson, evans, doubbs, brown) would immediately help the offense and no longer make WR a first round type of need in the draft. We would still need to get a WR but i think we can get a good one in day 2. I also like getting an athlethic TE in the draft if we cant get pitts or Njoku which may be a bit more expensive
That way in draft i would like to get DL, S i think were fine in other positions but we need a DT and EDGE rotation and that way we can keep everyone fresh and maximize healthiness. For EDGE and DT we need someone who can go after the passer.

Really liked the idea of getting Chubb but damn this guy has been hurt for like half his entire career

Agree, but wouldn't mind if the splurged on a safety in FA. But I get it that the safety draft class is deep

And they just might. I don't see them picking up any of them especially the older ones.
