Sadly I don't see the York's green lighting big money for free agency. When it comes to free agency, they tend to be Nordstrom Rack type of shoppers. It will be something like Isaiah Likely, a journeyman LG and a journeyman LB peppered in with a few backups.

Really our only hope of signing a decent WR is trading Mac Daddy for an established talent..might happen.

I don't understand this.

York has spent big literally every offseason. If it's not UFAs then he's locking up our own core. He just paid Purdy last year.

We have zero big name FAs. So he will pay to bring a couple in. He always does.

He didn't last year...with the stories of his families interest in other sports it sounds like we're now just the red headed stepchild as long as we continue to produce $$

Have you guys been asleep the past 10 years or what? The 49ers have been one of the top teams each year in spending. Last year was the off year and thats only because they were up against the cap and had over $100 million in dead money,.

Imagine paying out $100 million in dead cap money only for your fans to call you cheap.

Cut Farrell, sign Likely, draft Roush in the mid to late draft, roll with those two plus Tonges until Kittle is back.

I have a feeling that Likely will have a Delanie Walker like explosion in output once he gets to be the man at TE.

After checking the spotrac numbers, cutting Farrell does seem realistic. I guess it'll depend on what the market for Likely is. I didn't follow him in Baltimore. What exactly happened? Why isn't he getting re-signed***? I swear this dude was always making a huge play every time I catched a Ravens game.

Side note and unrelated to the 49ers' pursuit of Likely: I always thought this guy was like 6-6 with long arms because he always seemed to make some crazy high-point catch. I was surprised that he's 6-4 with 31" t-rex arms.

I'm guessing it's like 3yrs $35M or something for Likely

Get Alec Pierce and a OLmen ,and if be happy.

No to paying FA WRs.

That sure seems like it's something the 49ers can and should do. Likely is 25 years old, a baller and would finally give them a real TE that could be Kittle's replacement

btw, it's f**king annoying how well the Ravens' draft. What drives me crazy is that they don't do anything special. They take the most obvious best player on the board while the !@##!@$ 49ers try to get cute.

Every damn year they let the draft fall to them and get some steal. Kyle Hamilton falling to them still blows my mind. I swear the worst pick they have made in like 20 years was Hayden Hurst.

I remember watching that '22 draft and thinking both of their first-round picks "of course, the Ravens take Kyle Hamilton and then Tyler Linderbaum."

of course they f**king do. They don't have morons trying to reinvent the process.

And then the next three picks after that were Lamar Jackson, Orlando Brown and Mark Andrews.

Wrong guy. That would be Charlie Kohler on the Ravens also > 6'6"- 34" arms- 6'9" wingspan & 10" hands.

Dude they have a minimum, they HAVE to spend a certain amount.

And that small percentage leeway, if they do not use it they will get ripped for it.

So what is this NONSENSE about being cheap and not spending?

Is Linderbaum their Center and is he a FA?

If so, he's be an excellent pick-up in an area of big need.

Hes def a ppl mover in the run game, but he still has deficiencies in pass pro. Hes a clear upgrade over brendel and for the right place im all over it, but I dont think he's a player worth resetting the center market for.
Likely may not be too realistic. He will be too expensive…not only that it's not like we ever will use 2 tight ends on passing routes, especially when Gorge comes back. Not the best allocation of our money when we can spend that on a center or safety.
