damn that a good pickup for them. I was guessing if we did trade aijuk or deebo, we would of signed him.

OBJ as a WR3 next to Hill and Waddle will be deadly. But chances are he is gonna be hurt mid-season
Just sign Robert Tunyan at TE. He should be pretty cheap.

also at safety, I doubt Simmons is going to take a discount to play here but what about Quandre Diggs from Seattle? He's made the pro bowl I believe 4 of the last 5 years? He might be a little expensive as well, but if any of them want to play for a championship come on down.

I would love Quandre Diggs and don't know why he's still available? But aside from being a playmaker, Diggs has managed to stay healthy since 2019 and not miss a game. Playing FS would allow Jiayir Brown to stay at SS, since Diggs has played mainly at FS since 2019. But if not Diggs, Eddie Jackson could be another affordable player, I just don't know how long he would be healthy for, missing 8 games the last two seasons.

yeah crazy how many secondary free agents out there that can instantly become starters

So instead of a drafting a CB is rd 2, they should have made sure to draft an OT in rd 2 and sign another FA CB

I would of done that tbh. Maybe that was their idea before Rosengarten got taken right before them
Please sign Ben Skowronek and make him a FB full time. Everyone been looking to draft the next Juice, but he's right here!

But he's been playing WR his whole career, and can he block? I thought they had Juice's replacement in that FB from Fresno St., shoot I forgot his name but he was on the practice squad?

Hes a tough, hardass type of player - the kind that pisses you off unless he's on your team. Fearless over the middle, athletic enough to run down the sean vs linebacker and safeties. Big body. Was arguably the best run blocking WR in his draft class, and has continued that reputation in the NFL. Team captain for his work on special teams last year with the Rams. He will need to put on 10-15 lbs to make a position switch full time, but McVay did give him ~70 snaps lined up at FB, both as a lead blocker and as a pass option leaking out down the field.

Some quick clips:

only thing is that we aint got any space for him on our WR, RB, or FB room. Maybe if they look at him as a TE. Lord knows we need TEs with only Kittle guaranteed a roster spot. But he would need to be guaranteed a spot and probably not looking to compete for a spot with our WRs and Juice

Looks like he is headed to houston too. Man i love what Demeco is doing over there. Dude is building a great squad

They traded him instead, to the Texans. Great minds think alike

On May 9, 2024, the Rams traded Skowronek and a seventh-round pick to the Houston Texans in exchange for a sixth-round pick.
They gave him away for almost nothing

It could be a good signing, but like you said he likely hurt mid-season, plus he was literally non-existent for the Ravens in 2023, all hype IMO.

Hokit? He's not on the roster, was cut off of the PS last year.

I can tell you why Diggs, Simmons, & others are available, they want too much money, likely on muti-year deals, not worth it IMO, I feel good with Huf, Brown, Mustapha & Odum at safety.

I'd imagine with the Saubert signing this won't happen, unless an injury happens, and Tunyan is available for cheap, similar to Saubert's deal, minus the workout bonus.

Simmons & Diggs likely want too much on 1yr deals, or want multi-year deals & too much money, not worth it.
