If Chicago agrees to a draft day trade of Gould, what wud you take in compensation?

I'd take a 6th round pick and be done with it.

As long as we get a pick whether this draft or next & move on

A 3rd-4th round pick is the lowest I would go. We could see them in the playoffs so why would we gift them a key piece to their puzzle?

It would probably more advantageous for us to keep him and sign Matt Bryant than let Gould go to the bears in terms of the standard we would set for others.

yes you have the leverage, the ft isnt a Killer to the cap. If you dont get what you want wait for the season when teams start missing extra points, they will start calling

Disagree. I would rather let him sulk in his footy pajamas then help a potential playoff opponent and set a terrible standard. See the Steelers for example.

Trade him somewhere terrible

One thing we have in our favor besides him currently being tagged, he's coming off a very successful seasons and he still has 3-4 good years left if he chooses to play. I'd say letting him walk for nearly nothing sends a terrible message to current players that they can choose to do the same thing. Lynch needs to play hardball, even if he doesn't get a high pick or a good player in return, it shows that he won't be taken hostage in contract negotiations. Sitting out will only hurt Gould, I'm sure he won't walk away from $5 million at this point of his career.

6th round? No way!! There is no reason we have to do that POS a favour. If Bears want him, give us a 3rd and we will wipe our hands clean.

Maybe a pick this year and a conditional one next year.
