I would take the OBJ + another edge rusher, its exactly what we need to make our offense top tier and we would have our #1 receiver for another 4 years. OBJ + Pettis, Goodwin, Taylor and Bourne alone seems like a great WR group. We could probably replace Bourne in FA if we want to. There's plenty of great edge rushers in this draft. With this trade we can fill 2 major holes with one pick, do it.

So if Giants really would trade OBJ and 6 for #2 who do we pick then. Sweat or Burns?

But all the proposed trades have the 49ers giving up 36 to the Giants in the OBJ trade.
Middlekauf has the 49ers giving up 2, 36 and a 1st rounder next year for 6+OBJ.
Kawakami has the 49ers giving up 2, 36 and future picks for 6+OBJ.

Technically the first option should be Bosa + Ridley/Deebo/Brown
Hitting on both players on ROOKIE contracts would be hugee

For all those who wanted Landry a year ago, Burns is the closest thing to him, without the injury issues.

What are your thoughts on this?

If you wanted to move into the top 2 for a QB typically, you're giving up an additional 1st and 2nd rounder at minimum. The Giants getting an early 2nd rounder and other picks in addition to moving up from 6 to 2 would be laughably silly value for them.
I think that anything more than the 49ers swapping Pick 2, a late pick this year and a conditional 2nd or 3rd next year is overpaying.

Tend to agree.

YES
You and see a lot of things alike
I love OBJ but the biggest win possible would to get stud players in rookie deals.

This is also a good point. But honestly I'm tired of this saving cap space for next year BS. We need to spend some money and get some damn playmakers.

OBJ all the way! Sick of this team failing at drafting a decent DLine. Get a REAL number 1 WR FOR ONCE IN f**kING TIME! NO MORE DLINE BUSTS OR UNDERACHIEVERS!
Can we please just get talent on offense for once as opposed to trying to turn pumpkins into stars and getting lucky every 8th try?

Its tough to decide if its either bosa or OBJ . Having a great pass rusher is a lot better than having a great wr . I kind of think you go nick bosa because he will be cheaper and pass rushers are vital than great wrs . If you could somehow draft nick bosa and trade for OBJ that would be the way to go but it might not be realistic .
