John Ross up for trade

We got one little burner in Goodwin already. This guy needs to be a 4th or 5th option for trickery but his salary is way too high for that.

Kyle loves speed and ross was a great route runner in college. I haven't followed his NFL career but I'd be all for kicking the tires for a 5th or so.

His career has consisted of injuries

Plus when he wasn't injured he was in the coaching staffs doghouse.

Seems like a handful of the 2017 first rounders are getting or currently circling the bowl. Makes me feel a little better about our 2 misses.
He`s from california to add another dimension

Or just not go after him cause he's not good?

I vote for this.

$2.8 million is basically half of what Gould is getting. The Bengals would be on the hook for all the bonus money.

The money he's making isn't a deterrent at all considering our cap space. The real problem is the draft pick used to get him and the roster spot he'd occupy because I can't see us trading one of our few draft picks for him and then still using another pick to draft a receiver.

If Ross doesn't turn it around then we would've failed to get Jimmy more weapons because we dumpster dove instead of going after someone like AB or using #36 to draft someone to replace Garcon.

I feel like Lynch is trying to hit a homerun this off season and I'm not sure Ross helps accomplish that.
If lynch misses out on AB or OBJ then I say trade for Ross and then draft a wr in the 2nd round .
If Shanny is interested, it will be for a 2020 conditional pick.

If they went after Ross, it would be as a guy that could supplant Richie James or Kendrick Bourne, not as a #1 or #2 WR.

I don't think Shanahan would have any problem finding ways to utilize his homerun speed. His explosiveness makes him a natural redzone threat, a guy that quick can get open in a hurry and beat defenders right off the line with his speed.

Kyle could definitely find a role for this guy.

If only they had one to give up.

That play was the reason I wasted fantasy football draft picks on him
