For some reason I thought he was taller. He's 5'10, he plays like a big time receiver tho. Was hoping for a bigger redzone target.

So much talent on that team. They really needed to fire Tomlin and get a hardass coach.

I understand where you are coming from, but i disagree. No reveiver is worth #20 to #2 ever. The only player worth that is an elite QB.
But there were several WRs i would take #2. AB being one of them. But it takes a special kind of WR.
No mental issues.
Elite hands.
Elite Seperation(route, speed, size combo)
Essentially, Megatron, AB, and julio jones.
and if i have the team already.
deandre hopkins, mike evans, and andre johnson.
No to randy moss, TO, obj, or other crazy me first f**k the team types.
But i also think the top 10 should only be trench players and QBs. DE, DT, OL, certain LBrs. Any player who can make everyone around them appear better.
And the receivers i mentioned do that.

He plays big, but quickness/route running works just as well as size. He can create 10 ft of seperation in a 30ft box.

How many rings do all those HoF receivers got. It's an entertaining position but importance is minimal.

Curious how this all plays out. That 21mil they would have to eat seems like a show stopper, but can't see how he would play there again

What about Khalil Mack? I don't see any red flags.

Mega diva. I'm leaning toward no, but we damn sure could use a legit #1.

Give Jimmy G and great WR and the offense immediately becomes dangerous. Give Jimmy G Goodwin and we keep wondering when everything is gonna click

Long story short, i mostly agreed with you but there are exceptions.
Well megatron played for a crap organization. And never had anything more than a mediocre QB, but made him look like a HoF. And helped below avg teammates look better than avg. And was not a headcase like moss or owens.
That is what handicapped peyton manning from winning more. He made bacon out of pig shoulder. So the front office thought higher of their player. when january rolled around that player would get exposed.
But AB/julio is not on THAT level. I think calvin johnson is the greatest WR of all time. He ran solid routes, did not have a f**k the team attitude, and could not be defended.
Besides super bowls is always a misleading statistic (there is more luck involved than people want to acknowledge)
But how many super bowls does _____ have
Philip rivers, matt stafford, dan marino, carson palmer, cam newton, etc. It is hard to judge a player for not being on a SB winning team, when in the last 20 years only 13 different winners. Just like the 80's, any non niner/giant just lucked into a SB win.
There are very few small position players(RB(none), WR, CB) worth top 10 picks. These positions rarely make anyone better.
QB is #1
Then OT=DE
OL=DT
Those positions will inherently make everyone better. Give 5 OL and (any decent coach) will make kevan barlow a HoF.
Give 4 Dlinemen and they will make deangelo hall a HoF.
The problem with elite WRs is they touch the ball so rarely, 8-15 times. So they need to have a dramatic effect when they dont touch the ball. Pulling 2 defenders at all times while still able to consistently beat it as an example.
That is brown and julio jones. Hopkins and mike evans force the double teams but don't regularly beat it, which is why i only consider them if i have a good team already.
Moss and TO forced the double teams and beat it, but they were nut cases that hurt the team.

I am sure it can be re done again. And done in such a way to not hurt the steelers at all.

The 2017 Steelers offense featured the "Three B's" (Roethlisberger, Bell, Brown). In 2019 the Steelers will only have a Big B.

36 & 67 for 52 & Brown = great player that's 30 years old that's a head case. Rather have OB and his issues but he would or should probably cost more. JMTC
