rather take an elite player at 2 on a rookie contract for 5 years than giving up #2 AND paying AB craptons

AB is a great player but he is another TO because he is a me guy and the only thing he cares about is his stats . AB is not a team guy but he is a great player . I think if the steelers do indeed shop and trade AB they will probably want 2 1st round picks or a top 10 pick . I am not sure if it would be in our best interest to trade a our 2nd pick right now .

So we trade our 2nd round pick for him, sign leveon Bell too and we would have a chance to be pretty special on offense next year...

Why do people want Bell? We run the ball incredibly well with an UDFA why blow our salary cap on something we don't need. I get wanting AB if we can get him for a reasonable deal seems like a good guy.

They won't trade him. That's a 20 mil cap hit for a team with 10 mil in cap space. They got the entire off-season to try and mend this.
