Just see if he makes it through waivers and then offer whatever level deal makes sense.
Maybe even a prove it type 2 year deal with team option for the second year.

Why would he want to come here if he has options? Unless, of course, the Niners can somehow throw a lot of money at him beyond this year.

The Raiders have released Bruce Irvin and we obviously need a pass rusher. What is our waiver position and do we take a flyer on him if he makes it to us on the waiver?
