Allen Robinson best FA WR

he had garbage stats last year but the prior year his stats were fully accredited.

I believe you are right though. he will most likely take a huge 1 yr prove it deal. Hopefully with us

His injury is the biggest red flag to consider, with Goodwin we got him cheap. Will be the same. Plus Bortles problems in part is that many a time he tried to force it to Robinson to give his touches. Not for 15 mill a year.
He could end up with a Jeffery 1 yr deal somewhere and if he plays well could get an extension mid season
we don't need him. go cheap through the draft and get premier defensive players in free agency
Don't compare Alshon to Robinson, no comparison.

Yah I don't think Shanahan will have interest. I think money will be spent on the O-line and defense. If anything I think they go after someone like Paul Richardson or Marquise Lee.
Florida Times Union thinks the be tagged.

It's a battle of the Florida publications. Seems to be a mix of opinions in the area. We'll see.

The Florida Times Union's Ryan O'Halloran predicts the Jaguars will use the franchise tag on impending free agent Allen Robinson if the sides can't agree on a multi-year contract.

Robinson is easily the Jaguars' biggest free agent, ahead of CB Aaron Colvin. Jacksonville only has eight players scheduled for free agency. Robinson missed all of 2017 with a torn ACL, but he expects to be cleared for a mostly-normal offseason. The franchise tag won't be cheap, but Robinson is the team's No. 1 receiver, and Jacksonville still has plenty of cap space. The receiver market already looks weak. A-Rob is one of the three best available.

Scratch Allen Robinson off your Christmas wish list.

If they tag Robinson it will cost at least $16 mil. Good luck signing anyone else.

OTC has them at $17.591 million as of now. That could change depending on what they do with Bortles and the QB position overall. I do see some easy cuts, like Ivory & Hurns (extra $10 million in savings).

They can totally keep Arob on the tag but they will be hard pressed to keep everyone. I doubt he hits FA.

True they have to figure out what to do with Bortles? Will they finally commit to him now that he has led them to the AFC Championship or will they give that credit to Fournette and the defense? either way, Jags won't be able to keep everyone, especially if they're gonna tag Robinson. I'll gladly take Marqise Lee.

I look to Sportrac when I lean on salary cap numbers, my bad if they're not up to par.
I don't always count on sportrac for salaries, but when I do, I choose Dos Equis.
