This is the guy we need to get for Jimmy to round out our wide receivers. He has the highest ceiling of any of the upcoming free agent wide outs and has had the production of a top tier wideout with a sub par QB. We have a speedy deep threat in Quise Goodwin. We have a young and developing third down slot receiver in Trent Taylor(which is why Robinson is a better fit than Landry). Then we have Garçon who is a great all around receiver that excelled in the short to intermediate parts of the field. What we are missing is a receiver with the size and leaping ability to go up and get the jump ball in the red zone. At 6'3 and 211 lbs with a 39 inch vertical and 4.6 speed, he would be the perfect fit for our team. He has also demonstrated the ability to be a deep threat despite his slower 40 time. All he said was that the QB and scheme are all part of the equation. He's staying the obvious and this dude is trying to run with something that isn't there.

I wouldn't expect anything soon from A-Rob. He said he's letting his agent sort things out then present them to him.

They can after they cut some guys...they need more help on defense vs more offensives weapons imo.

Arob might not be heading to SF end of the day but I'd think they'd try to go after guys like butler/Mo/Johnson over a WR. We will see

Has a credible source linked the Niners to Robinson yet? I've seen a lot of conjecture and speculation but nothing concrete from a reliable source.

I mean ian rapoport has stated for days that we would be interested...nothing new as of today.

3 mil signing bonus, 4 mil during the season if he passes the summer physical and makes the team. So its really 1/3 mil if hes not healthy, 1/7 mil if he plays the season out, and then his 2019 salary becomes guaranteed if he makes the Pro Bowl this year, IIRC.

Basically, we dont owe him much unless hes the old Richard Sherman again.
