Allen Robinson best FA WR

This is the guy we need to get for Jimmy to round out our wide receivers. He has the highest ceiling of any of the upcoming free agent wide outs and has had the production of a top tier wideout with a sub par QB.

We have a speedy deep threat in Quise Goodwin. We have a young and developing third down slot receiver in Trent Taylor(which is why Robinson is a better fit than Landry). Then we have Garçon who is a great all around receiver that excelled in the short to intermediate parts of the field.

What we are missing is a receiver with the size and leaping ability to go up and get the jump ball in the red zone. At 6'3 and 211 lbs with a 39 inch vertical and 4.6 speed, he would be the perfect fit for our team. He has also demonstrated the ability to be a deep threat despite his slower 40 time.

Check out this video and let me know what you think. He really bails Bortles out a ton.

Yes.
I find it hard to believe Robinson would come here as our 4th receiver. To take a 1 year prove it deal you need the opportunity to prove it and it really isn't here with Garcon, Taylor and Goodwin. He would be a great addition to replace Garcon but can you get him to be depth for a year or 2?
He would immediately be WR1, pushing garcon to 2, which is good for him at his age. Oh, and A.rob has a sub 4.5 40. He came in overweight at the combine.

Goodwin is locked in as #2. He's our Desean. He'd be competing with Garçon and I'd find it doubtful he'd win.
Him or Adams if they make it to free agency..

Youre either much higher on garcon or much lower on Robinson than I am. I think they bring different dimensions to the game, but Garcon in my eyes is a very high level possession receiver.
I'll be curious to see if the Jags let him go to free agency. They're not exactly stacked at WR though they are getting some good production from their young receivers and Marquise Lee was playing ok this season.

Allen Robinson had a monster season with friggin Blake Bortles in 2015 and still led the Jags in receptions, yards and TDs last year before messing up his knee this year. He would most certainly be a starter and a pretty darn good one with a QB like Jimmy.
Garcon is a vet in Shanny's system who once put up 1300 yards and this year was on pace for 1k with no qb. It will be hard to out muscle his spot.

Goodwin has came onto the point where you have to pencil him in as well.

I might be a tough sell to convince Robinson to come here when he's a guaranteed starter elsewhere.

Maybe you can argue the Sanu role but Goodwin is not Gabriel he's an every down player outside of the red zone. Then you got Taylor in the mix as slot guy as well.

1 injury away from big stats do you make that bet though?
Not to mention Allen Robinson is 24 years old. The same age that Calvin Ridley will be when he starts the season. The sky is the limit for Arob and people have seem to forget how amazing he was before his injury.

Goodwin would quickly be bumped down to the #4 spot.

1-Robinson
2-Garcon
Slot-Taylor
4-Goodwin

I still don't think Robinson hits FA though.

Zero incentive for him to sign a deal with Jax before FA at this point. And it's unlikely, at $16M, he is franchised. Jax media saying he won't get tagged. But nobody really knows. We'll find out in two months.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2749230-nfl-free-agents-2018-predictions-for-top-players-expected-to-hit-open-market.amp.html pretty neat article. They predict Robinson signs with us. Landry going to the pats. I'd be happy with either one

If we get Robinson yall think we trade Garcon or Goodwin? Cant see Goodwin accepting a #3/4 role.
