Edit: I see you said AA..no, but I'd offer a 4th. He would be an absolute monster in this offense with this QB
Double Edit: F it , I'd give a 3rd

You wouldn't trade AA for an early 3rd?

No....but I'm higher on him than most

Failing another drug test would.

No thanks. Diva and 1 failed test from a year suspension.

Already had the 1 year suspension. But I agree, not giving up picks for a guy who is close to being out of the league.

I'm cool on a late rd conditional pick, low risk high upside. I don't think they will get as much as they'd like based on the off field issues and the fact that he will be a FA next yr.

Would give them a player we do not see in our future plans and will likely be cut in camp but no draft picks. Would rather take my chances on finding a player that can help us in the draft than assuming that risk.

I'm assuming they'd have some stipulations in his contract.
Jimmy throws a bit high from time to time...wouldn't hurt having a 6'5 WR to catch them.

Still ultimately costs us the draft capital we surrender to make a deal happen.
I have no doubt this guy could be a big help to us on the field, but I highly doubt we go anywhere near him due to the drug issues and the public drama he's directed at his teammates. Protect the Team!

Because I think AA has some value and Bryant is a FA after this year. No way PIT gives him up for a 5th imo.

Haven't seen that value as of yet lol, as of now they're both FA next yr...they have until May 3rd to give AA the 5th yr option and because they switched his role (edge rusher) this past yr that price just went up about $2 million to keep him

Not sure what people honestly think Pitt will get for Bryant? He's already has a yr suspension, complained about his role on the team after his 1 yr suspension, and will be a free agent in a yr.

I mean sure throw him Eli Harold or something lol, but realistically a conditional mid rd pick seems to make more sense. You don't see to many player for player trades. I think bringing him in for something like that is low risk. He's making nothing for money, is motivated to play for that contract & show people he's not just some pothead, plus if he slips up Pittsburgh's conditional pick comes back to us.

I'm also just as fine drafting someone but Bryant does fill a big need. Worth a look

Agreed, that's why I wouldn't go higher than a 4th.

The condition would end up only being valid on the 2018 season. If he were to get busted next spring, then you traded a pick away for a 1 year rental. And you have another player with off the field troubles and your team name is being drug through the mud again.

With all the off the field troubles this team has faced in the last few year and especially now with Fosters recents arrests, it is far time we stop taking risks on troubled players for the foreseeable future and focus on building up a strong locker room, to add players with little to no risk for off the field bs and to not have players with the potential to bring outside distractions into our building.

How does AA have value?

I've already stated that he has the ability to generate pressure and he did pretty well against the run last year. I'm not saying he's a world beater, but he does have value..whether people want to accept it or not

I'll disagree but mostly out of a disappointment standpoint. At this point I would be psyched if he could just be a Stephon Tuitt kinda player.

Yeah, I agree with you. Not sure why, but I'm higher on him than virtually everyone so I'm probably in the wrong lol
