The longer he sits in the market, the lower his price drops. This either looks like bad advice from his agent or he's just full on stubborn.

I may be on an island here, but I just don't see the value in spending our money on an NT/0-tech when we're shifting to a 4-3. He's a good player and entering his prime, but we're still very much at the beginning of our rebuild, and he's a piece that makes sense when you're almost at the top, not when you're laying the foundation.

He's 25,stops the run,and has had a 7 sack season as a defensive tackle.Every running back we faced went off on us last year.We can always play with the numbers on his contract to make it work. The prices only go up every year in free agency and we have plenty of cap space and he fills a need

apparently no GM thinks he's a big fish cause he's still waiting....I like him watched a ton of NY games but he's not worth $10 million a yr no f**king way.

He was probably banking on Poe to set the market for him, now he probably has to take a smaller deal. Hes good, but not $10 million a year good.

Hankins ranked out as the 75th best interior defender this yr...granted it PFF and that's not the end all be all, but surrounded by all that talent he should have graded higher IMO.
he'd be a major upgrade for the run D but anyone would be lol.

As much as I'd love for him to be a Niner - Not 10M - No way!
