Bell turned down 14 mil a year. Wants 17 and plenty guarantees. Nobody in their right mind would make that deal.

Just so you know. The Steelers since Munchak got there have run a ton of zone. This includes outside zone/stretch, inside zone, and split zone. Bell's elite vision and patience allows them to be multidimensional in their running game in switching between zone and gap principles, because they use a fair share of pulls as well. He is the kind of back that is a stud no matter what scheme you put him in.
I of course believe there is zero chance that Bell gets traded here this season though. The niners have plenty of money tied into their running back position. Even with the unfortunate injury to McKinnon, I don't see them bringing in Bell who wants to reset the running back market. It sucks we lost McKinnon because of the mismatch he created in the passing game but the Shanahans are the best of making beanstalks from beans in running backs. They will work the running game out imo.

Were not gonna pay bell crazy money and on top of that have McKinnon making what he's making. This is the team we're rolling with

We could potentially get out of McKinnon's contract after this season with only $1.5M dead cap...

Wait it out a little bit... make the Steelers sweat, then when the time strikes offer a 3rd round pick for him.

According to overthecap, he will count $6,000,000 in dead money in 2019.
