We get it. You don't like trent. Can you post something else?

Not so long as there's the slightest chance that someone, somewhere -- maybe even someone not born yet -- may not have seen any of his earlier posts describing how he feels.

Fine but amirite?

No.

No?? So you are happy with the State of the 49ers right now currently?? You are OK with the way Baalke has wrecked this franchise? You are ok with mediocre to BELOW mediocre talent that Baalke has accumulated? You must be gotta be on his payroll

How about you go and discuss Baalke in the Baalke thread. Stop cluttering this thread with Baalke hate please.

Oh and anymore Baalke hate or discussion in this thread will be deleted.
You are right for his 2012 and 2013 drafts but 2011 was excellent and 2014 and 2015 may be pretty solid to good. We will see.
The same people complaining about not signing anyone will be the same ones later on criticizing baalke for overpaying scrubs.

None of these overpaid scrubs wouldve made a difference here. Baalke is smart staying pat.

THIS….but we can use some oline help tho
One possible thought process that might support why no free agents (so far) is, our FO might have decided they are better off getting rookies who are not familiar with Chip's system than to convince the veterans, who are set in their ways, to change to Chip's style of coaching.

Could be, but we never make "splash" signings. Anyone who thought this year would be different was fooling themselves.

I don't doubt we pick up some guys, oline I hope, before the draft, but we were never going to give someone like Vernon that type of cash.

Exactly. I'd rather over pay a good player than a scrub lmao

Robinson has one good yr this yr and had been labeled a bust before this season...I wouldn't say he's better than Brock at all.

Andre smith was the 56th ranked OT this past season and his fat and lazy I hope he goes to the cards!

The year prior I believe Smith was the #1 RT.

Considering he only played 9 games I highly doubt that

A couple of thoughts.

I think Baalke and Chip are very much aware of the current perception they have around the league. I feel like they are steering clear from higher profile/more veteran players because they don't want to have a Demarco Murray/ Byron Maxwell 2.0 here. I think they want to gain some momentum (perception wise) before they start making any big acquisitions. The bad part is that they can't do that until the season starts.

I think they're trying to put forth a new image, a new culture, a new system.. and they intend to do it with their own players.Players they want out of college... And I like that idea. I'm more patient than the majority and i know that's not an attractive proposition for the rest. But I'm on board.

I know many dont share my sentiment, but I think Chip and Baalke can build something really good here. They just need to be given a chance. They have the draft picks to do it. They just need to execute now.

I look at it this way. And I know they're different sports but the philosophy is the same. In Mexican soccer or even baseball for that matter, there are many teams that spend a lot of money in acquiring big names big players.. and while they may do ok, every season there is always one or two teams that emerge with young talented players, playing with tenacity and hunger.

I really do think that the 49ers can do just that ...with this coaching staff.. especially the offense.

Not sure Evans is good in ZBS...replace him with Schwartz

Harvin could be pretty good in chips offense, but man his a locker room cancer not sure we need anymore of that. I'd rather go after Miller or Shepard in the draft before bringing in him.

Also I'd like Robinson because I'm a FSU guy but I could see DJ getting some real playing time this year he's got chip and O'neil written all over him.
