Free Agency Rumors/Pending Signings

Bradford torn is ACL 2 times and the Rams got a 2nd and Foles. We better get a 2nd for Kap.

I would love someone to explain to my why we should be happy with a second rounder based on Kap, his potential and Baalk's draft history in that round? I suppose its ok if you think Kap is hopeless and total trash, but if not, a 2nd is hardly worth it.

lol. he's not worth a 1st rd pick. bottomline.

The Niners NEED to come away with a 1st for Kap, either this year or next.

IMO the Broncos end-of-round 2nd or 3rd picks are not very attractive. The Niners hold all the cards here.

100% This
in my opinion,,. they will never get a first round pick. now if they do, the other team is dumb but I will not throw it back

maybe not outright, but if we throw a 4th in or a 5th and 6th along with Kap (seeing as how Denver does not have a 4th, 5th, or 6th), I think it is possible. Combine that with the fact that there are supposedly two more teams involved, Denver NEEDS Kap and will have to pony up AND they can only offer the last pick in each round this year which makes them a little more unattractive than anyone else.

I wonder who the two or more teams are

Broncos
Jets
???

a second is more than good for the ck version we saw in the latter stage of 2014 and all of 2015 plus the other things that do not show up on quik stats like his alleged locker room issues and lack of leadership.

Welp, we're about to find out.
Browns pass on a QB, Niners land GOFF

*sheds a tear*
Baalke might suck in the Draft and free agency but he could be a hell of a poker player. He called all the other teams bluffs saying they weren't interested in Kap and held on to him. Now he has them in a bidding war. Only thing positive I can say about Trent currently.

does denver have a player we could use along with a high draft pick for ck? nothing crazy like miller but you know a more than decent guy in some area of need we have?

Yes, we can take Cody Latimer off their hands, he won't be cracking their line up any time soon.

Only thing that scares me about trading Kap is RG3 being signed.......hell no to RG3, much rather keep Kap!!!!

well,. i really think the team needs to bring in a vet who is better than the camp fodder guy we signed yesterday, to provide good competition for gabbert and a nice rookie .. i guess that is my very luke warm endorsement or justification for bringing in rg 3.... if ck leaves. i know people will whine about trading talent away but seems to be you are also trading a very polarizing presence away not to mention a guy who lacks leadership skills with our team, in my opinion

Thad Lewis is fine, they NEED Jared Goff!!!
god kolohe.. i understand our need there but lordy i am really wishing for an elite pass rusher with that top pick then get a qb in round two... however i will assume if we can get some team dumb enough to give us a first or a second for ck....... we could get goff and still end up with a quality quality pass rusher?
A second round pick for Kap, when you already have no players is laughable.

Devy and co. will do a great job of protecting Blaine or a rookie QB!

Plus we could really use more cap space.
