IMO the Broncos end-of-round 2nd or 3rd picks are not very attractive. The Niners hold all the cards here.

100% This
in my opinion,,. they will never get a first round pick. now if they do, the other team is dumb but I will not throw it back

maybe not outright, but if we throw a 4th in or a 5th and 6th along with Kap (seeing as how Denver does not have a 4th, 5th, or 6th), I think it is possible. Combine that with the fact that there are supposedly two more teams involved, Denver NEEDS Kap and will have to pony up AND they can only offer the last pick in each round this year which makes them a little more unattractive than anyone else.

Browns maybe

Devy and co. will do a great job of protecting Blaine or a rookie QB!

Plus we could really use more cap space.

Lol SMH

a 2nd for Kap is fantastic value but keep whining about the team in March.

well,. i really think the team needs to bring in a vet who is better than the camp fodder guy we signed yesterday, to provide good competition for gabbert and a nice rookie .. i guess that is my very luke warm endorsement or justification for bringing in rg 3.... if ck leaves. i know people will whine about trading talent away but seems to be you are also trading a very polarizing presence away not to mention a guy who lacks leadership skills with our team, in my opinion

Thad Lewis is fine, they NEED Jared Goff!!!
god kolohe.. i understand our need there but lordy i am really wishing for an elite pass rusher with that top pick then get a qb in round two... however i will assume if we can get some team dumb enough to give us a first or a second for ck....... we could get goff and still end up with a quality quality pass rusher?

Nah Jared Goff IMO is the best fit for Kelly's offense with his short to mid range accuracy, don't get me wrong he also has a nice deep pass.

If we get the Browns 2nd I would do it. We can then trade our 2nd and Browns 2nd and move into the 1st round. In the teens and grab a QB with 7 and a Spence in the teens

Trent would trade it for 4 6th round picks and draft players that will never play

lol

Browns have much more attractive ammo than Denver since they have all of their picks and they are early selections. Denver does not have a 4th, 5th or 6th so their 2nd alone is weak as well. Browns' 2nd is essentially a 1st. Denver has to PAY UP

This. I've said that Goff could be pretty special in Kelly's scheme. It best fits his strengths as a passer.

I would love someone to explain to my why we should be happy with a second rounder based on Kap, his potential and Baalk's draft history in that round? I suppose its ok if you think Kap is hopeless and total trash, but if not, a 2nd is hardly worth it.

lol. he's not worth a 1st rd pick. bottomline.

Why? Explain why he isn't...he plays the most important position in sports, has a gravy contract, has won plenty of playoff games, is young, and brought a team to a SB.

Throw in the fact that this is zero on the market for QB, the draft isn't flush with top tier QBs, and their is more than one team that needs a QB.

Go look at what Bradford, Brock, and Cousins got for money this off season! None have done anything that Kap has in their careers and we can also say that the lack of talent and coaching Kap has had around him the past two seasons played a part in his performance.
