Once the highest-paid guard in the league, Evans can still help a team out as a quality starter.

I'm sure he doesn't want to play here either. Better than anything we have now.

Some of you guys need to chill out. We dont sign anyone on day 1, and everyone is tearing their clothes? STFU. Who did we really miss out on? This years free agent class was weak. Be glad we arent flushing our cap space down the toilet on these guys.

There were a handful of impact players. The ones we showed interest in turned us down.

Pass. Won't last through the rebuild, and he's a shell of his former self. He might still be in the league in a few years, but he almost definitely won't be very good.

We missed out on Sean Smith. Shut down corner at RCB. The rest I could give a sh*t about but we should have been able to get this guy with the $$ we have.

Pretty much. Wait out the first wave and grab one guy for a good and reasonable deal ie Williams. Grab guys in the second wave without overspending on bad deals that will haunt the team.

lol we're not looking for the next HOF G, we just need someone who won't get whoever our QB is killed.

And thank God they did. He'll be 29 by the time the season starts. By the time the Niners are any good, he'll probably be 31. He'll be on the decline right when the Niners need him the most, and the first thing to go when you get older is speed. Smith wasn't all that fast even as a rookie; he's going to be downright slow at 31.

Gotta go with the young players already on the Niners or maybe a younger guy like Morris Claiborne & a draft pick.

He's waiting for the return of Anthony Davis which is stupid because until he files for reinstatement we should be addressing that spot
